Domain Transfer Help

Microsoft FrontPage Users
Customers with Microsoft FrontPage extensions installed on their sites should only use FrontPage publishing feature to transfer files. Using regular FTP can corrupt the extensions, disabling the functionality of the FrontPage web and requiring that the site be deleted to reinstall the extensions.

  1. Open CuteFTP.
  2. Click File > Site Manager or it will open automatically after launching CuteFTP.
  3. Click New to define new site. Enter a site name.

4. You will need to enter information for the following fields:

Site Label: This is the name that you would like associated with this ftp process. It can be anything that you want. A good default is the name of your web site. For e.g. MySite

Host Address: This is, where is your actual domain name or server's IP address.

UserID: This is the userID assigned to you by ACCU Webhosting

Password: This is the password assigned to you by ACCU Webhosting. Please insert the latest password if you had changed that in hosting controller.

5. Right click on site name & select properties. Finally, make sure the Host Type is Auto-Detect.

6. Click Connect to connect your ftp site. you will see following view after connect.

7. Click OK button.

8. The box on the left consists of the files on your local computer, the box on the right contains the files on ACCU Webhosting server. To upload files from your local computer to the ACCU Webhosting server, change to the correct directory on the left, and drag and drop files from the left onto the right. To download, just do the opposite - drag and drop from right to left.
