Uploading through Web browser

Important

Microsoft FrontPage Users
Customers with Microsoft FrontPage extensions installed on their sites should only use FrontPage publishing feature to transfer files. Using regular FTP can corrupt the extension, disabling the functionality of the FrontPage web and requiring that the site be deleted to reinstall the extensions.

FTP is possible using your Microsoft Explorer or Netscape web browser. In the Address field of your browser, type the following command as shown in the image below. You will need to replace certain information with your specific account information.

format: ftp://userID:password@yourdomainname.com
example: ftp://accu:xyz123@media.com

Microsoft Explorer Browser

Netscape Browser

Next, click the Enter key on your keyboard. Your browser will open a window that includes all the files in your web site. To move files to the server, just drag and drop into the appropriate directories.

I did this in the format ftp://userID:password@yourdomainname.com
and the browser still asked for a username and login. When I put mine in, it kept asking. It still won't let me in.
