For the security reasons, we recently enabled FTP over SSL/TLS on our Linux servers. Plain text authentication will no longer work on our Linux servers. For the Linux users we would suggest to use FTP client like FileZilla, CoreFTP Â to upload their we contents.
Below mentioned are the instructions to upload files/folders using FileZilla FTP client:
Step 1: Create Site:
Go to File -> Site Manager -> New Site
Fill up following details:
Host: IP Address of our server
ServerType: FTPES - FTP over explicit TLS/SSL
User: your FTP username
Password: Your FTP Password
Port number: Â 21
Click ‘Connect’ button.
Step 2: Dialog box with “Unknown Certificateâ€:
Once you click on connect button it will ask for certificate
trust. Click the checkbox “Always Trust Certificate in futureâ€
Once you click on connect button it will ask for certificate trust. Click the checkbox “Always Trust Certificate in futureâ€
If you still not able to connect using provided steps then feel free to contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org with the exact error message you may receive or directly initiate a chat request from our website http://www.accuwebhosting.com.
